Merano, a small but charming town
The region of Merano is a very known and popular holiday destination in South Tyrol. It offers a lot to discover for active tourists, families, wellness fans and nature lovers. Its highlight is the town of Merano with its spas and thermal baths, its interesting history and famous visitors. Another popular destination are the valleys surrounding the town, leading towards the Venosta Valley: the Val Martello valley with its strawberry fields, the Val Senales valley with the place where Ötzi was found, the traditional Val d'Ultimo valley, the Val Passiria valley and of course the towns of Naturno, Scena and many more.

Merano - the city at Passirio River
You can stroll in the historic city centre or along the Passirio promenade, the Tappeiner trail or the Sissi trail. The so-called "Waalwege“, i.e. irrigation channels next to streams are unique. You can buy Italian fashion for a discount price at the Friday market!

Have a comfortable ride in the
