The way up is worth it: we hike along rushing streams, colorful alpine meadows and mystical forests.
There’s plenty to marvel at and discover along the way. The highlight for the kids: with a bit of luck, you might even spot a marmot or two along the way.

Guided hiking tours
Discover and be amazed
Just switch off, don’t plan anything and listen with excitement…in summer, hiking guide and head of the house Armin organizes guided excursions 2 to 3 times a week. He accompanies them himself or our hiking guide Franzi. A highlight for the grown-ups: Together with Armin, we’ll take you to the legendary spaghettata on our local mountain pasture “Gfoltrina”. The hard-working hikers are greeted by an amazing panorama, summit schnapps and Armin’s delicious spaghetti. And while you chew with relish, listen to the exciting stories and anecdotes. Or have a great experience up your sleeve.
Of course, there are also guided tours with the kids. Hike together to our Lazaun hut or to the Rableid Alm in the Pfossental valley. There’s not only flora and fauna to marvel at, but also a lot to discover – for young and old hikers alike. Letz fetz!
Challenging hikes
Discover the wild mountain trails around the Eagle's Nest
Do you have a head for heights and love the challenges of extreme altitude tours? The area around the Eagle’s Nest also offers many fantastic opportunities. Panoramic high-altitude trails or challenging glacier tours – the choice is yours. Mountain freaks can usually be found at the end of the Schnals valley. Here you can conquer the imposing summit of the Weißkugel, climb the Finailspitze or head for the Similaunspitze.
The Texelgruppe Nature Park is also ideal for exciting high mountain tours. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot ibex and chamois in the wild in the Pfossental valley. And when it’s time to take a breather, you will not only find shelter in the high-altitude mountain huts, but also the perfect place to stop off and recharge your batteries.
