You reach the Schnalstal Valley through a narrow rocky gorge. Above you is the famous Juval Castle. An exciting museum and Reinhold Messner’s residence in one. The picturesque road takes you to the wild side of the Alps. Where the contrast between rugged rock formations and lovely alpine meadows could not be greater. Pristine, genuine and sensual. Our Adlernest is also nestled in the heart of nature. In the gently modernized village of “Unser Frau in Schnals”. Or in melodious Italiano: “Madonna di Senales”.

Pampering at the very highest level. We live and breathe this. We have been hosting wonderful guests at Adlernest for around 80 years. And we want you to spend a great vacation with us today too. With lots of happy moments.
The history of our hospitality
Since 1944
1944
Matthias Gamper takes over the farm from Josef Santer and lives there with his wife and two children, Adolf and Matthias. They lay the foundations for today's Adlernest by renting out guest rooms.
1960
After the death of Matthias Gamper, the siblings take over the room rental together.
1968
The eldest son, Adolf Gamper, takes over and modernizes the farm with his wife Theresia.
1970
The farm is destroyed to the ground by a huge fire. The two innkeepers persevere and have the farm rebuilt in part.
1971
Adolf opens the newly built inn and hotel with 22 rooms - for the first time stand-alone and separate from the farm.
1985
Adolf's son Armin joins the hotel business.
1996
Together with his wife Elisabeth, Armin takes over the management of the hotel.
1998
Major renovation at Adlernest: 20 new rooms, 7 family suites, a new bar, an elevator and a beautiful wellness zone.
2014
Armin's son Matthias Gamper joins the family business.
2017
The "new" Adlernest celebrates its reopening shortly before Christmas after a long period of modernization. Freshly designed rooms and suites, a stylish restaurant and a cozy relaxation room are born.
2018
A little dream come true: with the new "Million Color Pool", all guests who like to splash around will now get their money's worth!
