Get ready to rumble
Wake up in the cozy eagle’s nest, snuggle into the pillows once again and then stroll relaxed to a good breakfast. This is how we understand pure vacation relaxation. If crispy pastries, steaming coffee, fresh juices and sweet egg dishes from neighbor’s chickens are still waiting for you here. Well. Then hopefully we have done everything right.
Lunchtime
Kids buffet for free
Children are hungry. Often! That’s why they get a free lunch at the ¾ boarding house. You can also leave them in our experienced childcare hands at lunchtime. Spaghetti threading included. For all older guests, we are happy to conjure up something à la carte from the fresh bistro menu on request.
For hard-working hikers, there is also a free children’s lunch at the Lazaun Hütte.
Afternoon
Follow your roots!
As well as a great start to the day, you’ll also get a tasty afternoon snack at your ¾ boarding house. And a colorful mix. At our “ROOTS MARKET” you will only find products from the Schnalstal Valley. Nothing for bores! So that you can get through the day in a culinary way and keep your strength up.

Let’s be honest: Is there anything better than being pampered with delicious food by warm hosts in a great atmosphere? Exactly! And that’s why you enjoy a formidable menu every evening with your pampering board. Which you can put together to suit your taste: vegetarian, with regional meat or freshly caught fish. Does your palate need a special lunchtime treat? In our à la carte bistro you can also enjoy regional specialties at lunchtime – light, easy and always fresh from the pan. Whether you’re a hotel guest or a hungry hiker, we offer fresh interpretations of typical South Tyrolean dishes. In the Nest or on the terrace. Naturally made from the best seasonal ingredients. And simply good!

You want it exclusive? But casual and relaxed? Do you like pure, genuine cuisine and sophisticated creations? You can have it! Our 7- or 9-course menu will drive you crazy. Again and again. Whether it’s butter-soft fillet, light, vegetarian compositions or heavenly desserts. At Serafina, our professional chefs let off steam. They put their heads together and create hot new menus again and again.
Why 30 KM? Because we take “regional” very seriously. We only use seasonal ingredients that have been grown no more than 30 kilometers away.

Game from local hunters, lamb from our own farm. We source around 80% of our food from within a radius of 100 kilometers. Feel free to ask us!
Milk, cheese, meat, eggs and our crunchy vegetables come fresh every day from our trusted suppliers.
We believe that you can taste passion. And that's exactly how head chef Daniel Rainer and our sous chef Martin Niedermair cook.
Our earth is our home. Especially here in the beautiful Schnalstal Valley, we love nature and want to do everything we can to protect it in the best possible way. So we rely on seasonal products, save paper, use modern QR codes for menus and information and simply skip the tablecloths at breakfast. Saving water and energy made easy.
Our kitchen crew consists of great people who are highly trained. And an absolutely well-rehearsed team!

Eyes closed, taste buds open. Delicate citrus notes, hot pepper and herbaceous aromas: as an award-winning gin connoisseur, hotel manager Matthias knows every flavor nuance of our juniper favorite. And that’s not all: his legendary “Nest Gin” is known far beyond the country’s borders and has won several gold awards. We bow our heads in reverence! Matthias will share his passion for gin with you during smooth tastings.

Do you want to earn your favorite dish honestly? Do you fancy a relaxed stop at a mountain hut, but with a great view, charming hosts and a place in the sun? So what are you waiting for? Whether you’re a hiker, boarder, skier or tobogganer, let’s go to the Lazaun!
Grilled delicacies and regional specials await you at the hut. Crispy and crispy from the pan or the oven. The Lazaun also serves only “good things”: meat from our own farm, fresh seasonal vegetables, local game and, of course, our homemade apple strudel.

Watch out kids!
You should definitely persuade mom or dad to hike to the Lazaunhütte together with Armin. There’s a cool playground and a petting zoo waiting for you. As Adlernest chicks, you can enjoy your free children’s lunch menu at the hut. And while you feast in peace, stroke the animals and explore nature, we’ll look after your parents. We promise. With good food and fine drinks. Don’t worry, we’ve got them under control!
